They're certainly not going to win Eastern Tennessee.

But the fact that they made

This is uncomfortable for us in Hamilton County where I live.

That is absolutely a warning sign to all of America and to Republicans.

You better develop a sense of urgency right now because as things stand today, we're in trouble.

Yeah, it certainly is uh alarming, that's for sure.

And I hope to wake people up.

I'm not trying to depress anybody or scare you.

These elections are winnable, but these are actual votes.

This isn't a poll, right?

Actual votes in one of the reddest places in America where I live, Eastern Tennessee.

And take a message, take a warning from Appalachia, a place that should never be in doubt.

We won, but they were lackluster wins.

And the enthusiasm on the left, even in Appalachia,

Is significant.

It's palpable and it's measurable looking at these elections.

These were county elections that shouldn't have been close.

They weren't close four years ago.
