here in Italy, the most ever at a single Winter Olympics by an American team.

For the first time in 46 years, the U.S.
wins gold at the Winter Olympics in men's hockey.
It was a thrilling game between these two great rivals, the U.S.
took a 1-0 lead in the first period.
Canada tied the game 1-1 in the second.
Neither team could score in the third.
Then it went to overtime, and just one minute later,
41 seconds into the overtime, Jack Hughes had an open net from the left side.
He put it in, and a celebration began on the ice.
