I mean, they've established the expectation that someone does Guinness, and if you don't do Guinness, you're weird, you know, like in a way that never was the case when I was first going to pubs.
And it's also, I think the decline of bitter, of the sort of smooth flow bitter and the idea of that as a drink means that someone who would normally choose that goes in that direction.
Or the amount of times we've gone somewhere that doesn't really do cask, so you go Guinness.
It's good.
And also it's weaker than people think, so it's quite a good session drink.
It's heavier, but it's not as strong as...
a 5.5% lager, you know, that sort of stellar culture that was there for a while that made you drunk very quickly and doesn't do that.
So I think it's got so much going for it.
I mean, the Beamish thing, I spent years, I mean, Ryan Patton wrote a really good Liverpool Echo article about this, about the quest for a Beamish, it not being something you could get here, because I've heard hell of it.
People would say, oh, you know, in Ireland it's better than Murphy's, it's better than Guinness.
And then you get to try it.
And I like it.
It's a bit like the Jan Malby goal, you know, the Old Trafford.
