So if he felt that Nicole wanted to feel like he was going to be very committed, then it wouldn't surprise me for him to be talking about it.

But it had to have been going on for longer than six weeks.

Chris has an almost pathological need for approval and acceptance.

And even though he did something so horrible, he wants to come up with some reason to mitigate that so that you'll still like him, that you'll still pay attention to him and stroke his ego a little bit.

And that's what he does with Charlene, for instance.

You know, he'll talk to her and he'll say things that she knows are lies because she knows the facts.

And if she calls him out on it, he tries to still dance around it.

I don't think he's capable of being truthful.

I don't think he can be truthful.

There's always contradictions with Chris and with Nicole when they met, how they met, what she knew, what she didn't know.

And it's really hard to figure out and to untangle that.

And the cops were in the middle of doing that and figuring it all out.

And then he pleaded guilty.

So therefore, we never got all the answers that we would have gotten if this whole thing had gone to trial.

That didn't happen.

So because that didn't happen, we're left kind of taking this piece and that piece and the other one and trying to make them fit together with two people whose stories changed.

And it's really hard to know what of this is true and what isn't.

That's another contradiction.

And again, Nicole hasn't been accused of any sort of wrongdoing here, but we can look at what she said, compare the things that she said and the things that she did and see where the discrepancies are.

And that's a big one right there.
