So I spent a lot of time, and I was just at a big hospital in the Central Valley in Fresno just on Monday, really learning about it.

I did a tour of the facility there.

Exactly as you say, the burdens.

I mean, one thing that's coming up a lot with hospitals are these seismic regulations, the hundreds of millions of dollars that they're going to have to spend, some of it completely personal.

pointless this is a seismic risk i don't want to say no but like it's not the same everywhere in the state seismic risk and yet every hospital in the state is is having to pay all this nonsense um the uh labor costs when you've got the the l of the minimum wage that's been negotiated by the unions the other deals that the unions negotiate in terms of staffing levels and

And all of that that make it impossible to run things efficiently.

The costs are just astronomical.

And then what does the government do?

They come in with their Office of Healthcare Affordability or something and try and put price caps on everything.

And instead of actually dealing with the underlying issue, which is a lot of it driven by the unions who own the Democrat politicians who are making these regulations.

Yeah, and just the estimated total cost of all this across California to all the hospitals we have is $100 billion.

It's just a huge amount.

Every hospital I go to, this is the first thing they bring up.

And it's just crazy.

This is what happens when you have 16 years of one-party rule.
