We're just now importing nearly 80% of it.
Our number one provider of oil used to be California.
Now it's Iraq.
So they're shipping oil halfway around the world on giant supertankers spewing out carbon emissions all in the name of climate.
So we just need to get back to doing what we used to do before all this, which is produce the oil we use here that's much cheaper, keeps the refineries open.

For example, opening up oil and gas production, to be really precise about it, there's an agency called CalGEM, the California Department of Geologic and Energy Management.
They're the ones that regulate the oil industry.
