He paid his bill and left the hotel.

So what happened that night to John Hinz?

What caused him to flee the hotel in such a hurry, vowing never to stay there again?

John said that as soon as he entered the room to get ready for bed, he felt a presence.

He said that it was unmistakable, not something that he'd ever felt before, but was at a loss to explain what it was.

John finally got into bed at around 1am, hoping to shake the feeling and get some sleep.

But just a few minutes after he'd turned the bedside light off, something felt like it had been dropped onto the foot of the bed,

Immediately, John switched the light back on, to see what was there.

But there was nothing.

Nervously, he switched the light back off and tried to go to sleep.

John said that he managed to drift off, but it didn't last long.

Again, the overwhelming feeling of someone being in the room with him caused him to become restless, and as he tried to push this to the back of his mind, he heard what sounded like the swishing of a dress moving around the room.

John shot up and switched the bedside light on again, and there, sat at the foot of his bed, was the silhouette of what John felt was a young woman, staring out towards the window.

He tried to communicate with it, asking who it was, and what was it doing in the room with him, but it never responded.

It just ended up fading away into the dimly lit room.

Having no concept of what he'd just seen, other than the possibility that he'd just encountered a ghost, he kept the lights on in the room and spent the rest of the evening awake, petrified of going back to sleep in case the ghost returned.

This event seemed to be the catalyst for a series of alleged paranormal incidents which seemed to spread throughout the hotel.

So who was this young woman?

And why was she now beginning to appear?

It seems that there could be three possible female ghosts which haunt Flitig Manor, all with good reason to do so.
