Now Al Sayed's going to take his best swing with the Election Day vote.
Right.
Right.
How does it look compared to that?
But I think one thing that's interesting that we've been looking at is these votes have been coming in.
One model we've kind of had in our minds here is that gubernatorial primary in 2018 when Gretchen Whitmer won.
Al-Sayed was sort of a distant second, but Whitmer only got 52 percent statewide in that primary.
OK, as the lone establishment candidate against two progressive challenges, Al-Sayed and one other.
So we've been using the Whitmer number.
in a lot of these counties it's sort of maybe a rough benchmark of where stevens wants to be tonight and the interesting thing is whitmer really struggled in wayne county she lost detroit she actually came in second place in detroit she got 36 of the vote in detroit she got 44 overall in wayne county and again i keep saying how big wayne is 20 of the vote you know statewide so this was
core to the chances Stevens has tonight is getting a substantially better number out of Detroit and by extension out of Wayne County than Gretchen Whitmer did in 2018.
This is consistent with that.
The question now is, as you start to get that election day vote, how much is Al-Sayed able to offset that?
