Former Maine Senate President Troy Jackson held a commanding lead of delegates after the weekend's party caucuses.
While those delegates aren't bound to Jackson, most have already said they'll back him at this coming Saturday's nomination convention.
Should he secure the nomination, Jackson will push a progressive platform championed by his longtime ally, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.
