It's huge.

I mean, uh, you know, they are already on a very narrow path and a very thin thread and and uh you know they needed him not only to pitch they needed him to pitch well and deep in the game so they could protect the bullpen for Max Scherzer's day and for what could be a bullpen day.

Now, whether that's gonna be Spencer Arrighetti or or some combination of Simeon Woods Richardson piggybacking together, um, it's really gonna be tough right now.

And so uh the offense becomes that much more important.

We've talked about it all season long, how they need to start to hit, they need to produce.

Laddie's got to be in the center of that.

It hurts you talking about it.

Uh, but I mean, it's they're not making it easy on themselves by any means.

And and it does make you feel like even if they get there, the run could be short because you're gonna play the best teams, not the ones you're gonna play over the next month, but the best teams.

And it's going to be tough to do that as undermanned as they are.

at least a couple starts uh and they can't afford you know a couple starts because because when you go bullpen day instead of beaver or when you go you know Simeon Wood Richardson or or Ericetty and they can only go four innings, it's it's what you're doing to the bullpen for the rest of the time when you're gonna need high leverage relievers and they're gonna have been overworked already for a bullpen that's so

overworked, the most overworked in all of baseball.
