I think there will be.

But I also think that they'll look at it and say, Listen, based upon what we knew at the time

uh we we just couldn't pull the trigger on it and we had to go in a different direction.

Remember there were a lot of starting pitchers available uh at the trade deadline.

More than you would have thought considering it felt like it was a bit of a a seller's market.

Uh and and yet there were quite a few starters that teams could go out and get

And that might have been more predictable.

Now, you know, there's upside with him and and certainly we're starting to see that right now.

But I also can understand that if it were me I'd be like, Okay, well, at the time all we knew was

what we knew and it didn't look great.

And so and sometimes, you know, from the Jay's perspective, sometimes the best trades you make are the ones that you don't make.

Uh and it feels like that in the case of Shane Bieber.

Yeah, I you know, I I the you know, the batting average is okay, the on base percentage is okay, but you know, he's a run producer, he's not a run scorer, he's not a table setter, he's a guy that that should be driving in runs and so when he doesn't do that, it's a big hole in the lineup.

You know, it's you know, runners should be in scoring position when they're on first base.

He should be in scoring position when he's standing at home plate.

And we haven't seen that that Vladimir Garrow Jr.

necessarily that much this year.

And so, um, you know, at times, you know, he does do things to spark the team.

What I loved was, you know, some of the the the him crossing home plate and the energy and celebratory nature is what we saw from him last year.

when he was so passionate about things.
