If it had touched the tail rotor, even by a fraction of an inch, it would have destroyed the tail rotor and we would have instantly had to crash in the ocean.

Oh, under normal circumstances, it would have been an absolute yes.

But we're all too tired.

And I knew we had to fly home the next day.

And if we have anything to drink, we're going to completely delay that return.

So we elected not to have any beer.

It was almost a unanimous decision.

But we're sitting in the lobby of this hotel.

Alaska hotel bar restaurant thing that basically had one sign on it.

It said beer, food, and lodging.
