So you can ruin the story for everyone else at work a week before they hear it. There you go. And pay just a little bit for that privilege. Yep, yep, yep. And I like some of the ideas that you've come up with for Patreon.
Yeah, I think this one could be pretty rich and expanding upon the world and allow the subscribers to really experience so much more than what they would get just by hearing the stream alone. Right.
One of the things I do as part of my day job is, you know, a number of our games, we do have handouts and props and these things that really kind of expand the experience of the game. And I'm taking that aspect over to this for our Patreon to really just deliver a lot of added value.
There's one thing that we've been talking about a lot. We can't really say who the character is because he shows up in an early episode. But he's played by Nick Mercer, who is an incredible talent. Yep. And we've worked with Nick on Station 151 as well. Station 151, yep. And he came in to fill in what we thought was another one-off part. Mm-hmm. But... We are probably going to have his character around a little bit more, but...
We probably can't talk too much about that. No, no, no, no, no. But you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, but there will be things that... So his character shows up in episode three. So when this thing airs, we're dropping the first three episodes. Yep. And so you will meet his character and you will see why, as part of Patreon, you will actually get certain things that come directly from that character. Yeah, which is going to be fun.
Yeah. Yeah. You know, one of the other things we've talked about producing in maybe not necessarily in like copious volume, but certainly a number of them is the Weird Explorations podcast that
Dante, Casey and Dante produce. Right. We have an episode of that already on the stream. It's more of a teaser. It's not really would be what the full episode would be, but it would be a part, a portion of that. And we have talked about producing more of those as if Casey and Dante have produced these and you can hear those also on Patreon.
That would probably be more like in between seasons. So it would be something to kind of get you through until the season two or season three or whatever. And it's just there to kind of help extend the story, keep things alive a little bit different. And again, these would be stories that we personally wouldn't tell as part of Edge of the Forgotten, but Casey would tell as part of Weird Explorations.
I think it'll be a lot of fun. I look forward to that. Working on the teaser that Bear's talking about, which is available in the Edge of the Forgotten Stream right now. Weird Explorations. The Harvester of the Hollow was a lot of fun to work on. I get to actually play Casey in his role as podcaster. And then we got to approach the...
the the production work as if we were trying to make this very dramatic the kinds of things that that casey and dante would actually produce that was a lot of fun yeah and uh you you hear a little bit of that story in episode 10 10 yep which is weird explorations exactly but uh we wanted to kind of create one and and tease it out
Uh, and that, uh, that was just enjoyable. I look forward to doing more of those and I think our, our patrons will, uh, will really enjoy it. Yeah.
Um, we've probably rambled on for a really long time at this point. We should stop talking. We should probably stop talking. People are, uh... People want the show. Uh, we know people want the show. The show is coming. Uh, July 7th. July 7th. Or, uh, end of June, if you're a Patreon member. Right. Um, and, um... Yeah, I, uh...
We'll do more of these, I think, maybe in between seasons or some other point in time where it makes sense for us to kind of get together and we can kind of talk probably a lot shorter, but we could talk about a particular episode. Might be something that we move only to Patreon as well, where we can talk a little bit more in depth, but we can maybe dissect certain episodes. It'd be great if we got some of the voice actors in with us and we can kind of talk in those terms as well.
So if you like these kinds of things, there will be more to come. But coming next is the series, and I think you're really going to like it. I'm feeling really good about this. Yeah, it's been an absolute pleasure to work on. It has been a long process, but as we said earlier, I think we're turning out a really great first season of a really engaging show.
