And that's if everything goes well, which has never happened in my life, that when we sort of map out a technology over 10, 20 years, that the optimistic timeline is what happens.
Maybe with one exception.
And what's the exception?
Solar.
No.
No, I don't think solar has exceeded.
CRISPR is the only thing that's really exceeded, if anything, expectations.
But other than that, you always say, yeah, in 20 years this will be happening.
It's 30 or 40 years.
Yeah, that's obviously a good question.
You know, obviously, if you use clean energy to power the process, it's better than burning fossil fuel to a fission reactor, man.
Yeah, it takes less energy to build it than you get out of it.
It's a net positive.
It does matter because we want to minimize our CO2.
And the number of years it takes of operation to get to your payback time, you want to keep that as short as possible.
Right.
But wait, where's the CO2?
You want it to take 20 years to get your payback time for either money or CO2 or whatever it is you're doing.
