So science is methodological naturalism, which means it acts as if there is nothing supernatural.

Philosophical naturalism says you believe there actually isn't anything supernatural.

Does that make sense?

So there is a distinction there.

Yeah, I mean, it all is within the naturalistic philosophy.

But it may not be.

So it distinguishes between unknowable and currently unknown.

Yes.

Absolutely.

And things that are unknowable are just outside the realm of methodological naturalism by definition.

So again, it's the shut up and calculate kind of approach of you need to phrase things in a falsifiable way.

And if it can't be falsified in theory or in practice, it's simply outside of our knowledge.

Now, if it's only outside of our ability to falsify in practice for now, then that may change in the future.
