And then you work on all these other small things first, and then you go to them last.

And they're like, why are you coming to me last?

I'll be like, I wanted to be able to focus on you, honey.

I wanted to be able to clear all of this other noise out so I could be on signal.

I don't know if that resonates with anybody, but that's a thing for me.

I like to tackle all the small things and get them out of the way.

And then I can clear the agenda and focus on the big thing.

You know, I look back at my career and very frequently in my business, even when I was in corporate America before I owned a business, I had a lot of dead space on my calendar where I just had nothing to do.

And this is more common in corporate world, but it's still true as a business owner.

Some of you are running around with your head cut off 24-7, and this isn't for you.

But for some of you, it's like you got some dead space, and you're like, what do I fill it with?

There's no great answer to that question, but I would frequently fill it with podcasts, skill ups.

I would fill it with personal errands.

I would clear out tax.

I would do my taxes on January 1st, even before all the tax forms were ready.

I would have as much done as I could.

I would fill out what I could, what I knew.

I would be ahead.

I would basically emergency preparedness, emergency prevention.

I would have all of my small activities done so that when that one big emergency happened, it didn't affect my day.
