Like, oops, I cut my finger.
I got to go get stitches.
This actually happened three or four weeks ago.
I cut my finger, and I'm going to be left with a scar.
It was with a butter knife, of all things.
Yeah, didn't see it coming either.
That's why I cut my finger.
I was trying to open up the hole of a sippy cup for my kids, and the knife went through faster than I anticipated and went right into my finger and cut it.
But I will not need physical therapy.
It's going to be just fine.
Went and got it stitched up at the urgent care, drove myself, and not a fun experience.
I didn't like it, but it's done, and it's healing up.
It's doing pretty good.
It's looking pretty good.
But because I had everything lined up in my life leading up to that emergency, it didn't affect my day.
It didn't affect my week.
I went back to watching my kids two hours later.
