Like you spend a lot of time onboarding great leadership that you thought was really good.
And then it just isn't as good as you thought.
you have to create a litmus test.
You got to figure out what day am I going to know whether this is going to work or not?
Because every consultant ever is going to tell you, you need at least 90 days and got to give them a chance to do their thing.
And if you don't, then it's your fault.
I think that's bullshit.
I think you could know in the first two weeks.
And Ken Zhu, he's my COO.
So he was interim CEO over at Seller Interactive, one of the closest agencies to my Amazon guy in terms of how it was run.
They fell off a cliff.
They ran out of money.
We picked up their interim CEO, made him COO at MAG, been a great hire for me.
And he saw how his company was falling apart.
And I said, don't let that happen to MAG.
And so I knew within two weeks, he was a great hire.
So I've been able to see what a good hire looks like immediately.
And he met all of the cultural baseline tests day one.
I didn't need time to think about it.
