Is hunting under the decline?
Man, depends on how you, depends on how and when you measure it.
It's remained remarkably, and not percentage, but this is kind of a weird deal, not in percentage, but in actual numbers, it's remained remarkably consistent.
Oh, really?
Well, since the end of World War II.
Like, World War II kind of gave us the modern-day...
outdoorsman, and my dad was a product of that.
My dad came home from the war.
There was even an editor at an outdoor magazine at the time and made some comment that like, how can you train an entire generation of men to shoot and camp?
not expect them to hunt and my dad grew up he was raised by italian immigrants he was raised by his grandparents south side of chicago um came home from the war and got into it man like started bow hunting in the 50s started uh you know deer hunting he just got into it he wanted to be outside he said everybody was stir crazy no one to be held tight he told me stories of like being lined up hunting rabbits and someone had shoot and everybody hit the ground
It was like that fresh.
But that's just what he wanted to do.
And that kind of gave us, there was other things that were happening culturally.
People had automobiles.
So people that would live in urban, suburban areas had a way to get somewhere.
