But as you say, when they go for five million pounds each or four million pounds each, whatever that is.

We just can't afford that.

So then your next alternative is okay, well who are the best players in League Two?

And then you're always worried, yeah, can they take the step up?

It's difficult enough to step up one division, but can they step up to go in

to two divisions which sometimes um

It's really hard and and and that's a big risk.

So then you look further afield into Europe and you try and see what the market looks like in there.

Then you're running the risk of, well, how is the player who you're bringing in going to settle?

Does he speak the language?

Has he got a family?

Is he going to be able to hit the ground running in the championship?

So you've got to weigh up all these factors and it's really difficult.

That's why I went to somebody this season who we recruited in Ryan Hardy is somebody who I know.

who I know he understands the level, he knows what the championship is like.

The last two times he's played full seasons in the championship.

He scored double figures.

So he's a player that I feel as though we could afford on loan.

Couldn't afford in all of his weights, but we could afford them on loan.

Um and hopefully he can come and do the business for us when he gets fully fit.
