Because you mentioned if we don't embrace India, then they're going to go towards the Chinese.

So you think that kind of creates an opportunity for the West to at least kind of build more positive influence?

That's my goal.

Yeah, which, again, just kind of adds new dimensions.

Like now we got legal warfare, we got conventional warfare, and then we got sticks and stones.

The fourth war, as Einstein called it.

And then another, although it doesn't get as much attention in the Indo-Pacific region, but also Russia plays a role in the region.

Could you just tell us a little bit how the significance of Russia in this dynamic?

I like that point you made about how the Russians are a lot smarter than we think.

And I think, especially in American culture, there is this tendency to always underestimate them.

And I like how Michael Kaufman, who studies the Russian military, he said it, the Russians aren't 10 feet tall, but neither are they four feet tall.

So it's like, you don't want to overestimate them, but you don't want to underestimate them.

Because even if we go into the war in Ukraine...

They are proving more resilient than what we originally thought.

So are the Ukrainians, of course.

But there was always this narrative that, oh, the Russian military was just going to fall apart or the regime was just going to fall apart.

And it's like, well, they're proving a little bit more resilient and we can even look at their history.

I mean, we can even look at World War II, how they withstood that.

Yes, and even getting back to India, India has been getting a lot of cheap oil from Russia, so they've been benefiting from it.

Because there was always a common saying, and maybe you heard it dealing with the U.S.
