But Schaefer is such an unusual talent where he was the first player off the board, obviously very good draft year, despite missing so much time.

I don't think anybody on the planet saw him becoming this good this quickly.

Like everything about it suggested it was going to take him a while to really get up to speed in the NHL and to watch him do what he did this year was insane.

When he was fully healthy, he was unstoppable.

The skating, the speed, the hockey sense, the shot, the ability to control the power play.

He's got everything you're looking for in a dominant defenseman who can put up 75, 80 points a year.

I hate using the word generational because we almost use that word every year at this point.

Just trying to think off the top of my head, like definitely significantly better than Owen Power was when he went first overall.

I think there's more skill than Schaefer when he went first overall.

I also would say he's not a lock to go first overall.

There are some scouts that you look at the top three guys there on the screen.

There's some scouts that think Privolov's the best player.

Some think that Alexey Joseph, you know, this six foot five power forward who scored at an unbelievable rate this year in the QMJHL.
