It's a head-scratcher for me.
It really is.
They're basically turning up, and they've got to make... Juan Garcia has to be, at the very least, excellent every game, because of the opportunities they give away.
I'm sorry, it makes no sense.
I mean, it's games like this that... The La Liga title race is still on, there's a Classico in May...
Still plenty of points to be played for.
They are in the box seat, Barcelona.
There's no doubt about that.
But it's games like this, and I know they've just come off the back of beating Newcastle 7-2, but let's be honest about it.
As good as Basse were, Newcastle's defence in that second half was shocking.
Absolutely shocking.
But it's games like this that make you wonder about the Champions League as they...
go further into the quarter-finals or the semis and these two-legged games against better opposition with better defences, with better attacks, that when you see this kind of performance again defensively, you can't keep relying on your goalkeeper.
Because, you know, the chance in 40 seconds for the striker, it's a good save from John Garcia, but he hits it straight at him.
Now, an elite-level striker like Harry Kane or some of the others that are still in this competition, Dembele at PSG, they all dink that over him.
you won't get that opportunity to go and get yourself back in the game.
So I love watching him play.
And he's applauding his goalkeeper, Hansi Fleck, because somehow, sadistically, he loves us.
But it's brought him success so far, obviously not in the Champions League, but it's brought him... Now, if it hadn't brought him the three trophies domestically last year, the pile-on would have been big.
Your defendants, hopelessness, Highland, it's terrible, all these things.
