This is a basic human thing.
We all understand.
We all know the truth here.
And what we are being asked to do on a day-to-day basis is to...
not just tolerate a lie but involve ourselves with that lie involve ourselves to spread the lie that men can become women with a series of magical words this is not a thing this is not a thing we can have uh empathy for people who are going through this we can talk about i mean you mentioned uh you know and we've talked about this before there are certain issues that have
continually been recognized by medical authorities as issues that people are dealing with when it comes to their identity.
These can be really serious and difficult for families to deal with.
And I can't even imagine what it would be like to go through something like that.
That being said, we have empathy for those people.
But we cannot express that empathy by lying to ourselves.
We cannot express that empathy by telling people things that are not true and acting as if they are.
Or endangering our girls.
And in the process of that, endangering little girls and their health.
None of this is acceptable.
You should be able to say, look, I understand this is a complicated issue in certain realms.
All I can comment on is basketball.
And it is really important for girls to have the opportunities to play in this sport that I love so much.
That is not a controversial statement.

I mean, look, she wants to avoid it because of everything that's happening in the aftermath of it.
