No, it's the inversion of everything we've learned. Obviously, the Celtics, how they win titles, they do it by being the opposite of what the Timberwolves were. But I think when Izzy is alluding to Jackson Hayes, I mean, that's the story here. To me, it's the trade that didn't go through that almost went through in the shadow of the Luka trade. It was Mark Williams. Right.
And I know that trade fell apart because in some and I need to find out more about this. But in terms of like the buyer's remorse from the Lakers, in terms of the physical, that was failed, allegedly. But they needed a big man. They got basically Luca for so little that they thought, let's overpay for Mark Williams.
And then the light of day, the morning after, they were like, let's actually not give all of this for Mark Williams. But Mark Williams, a healthy Mark Williams, is exactly who the Lakers needed this entire series.
Oh, look, the thing that the thing that is most surprised me is that I've gone from immediately in the aftermath of Luca trade being like, of course, this was a clutch slash LeBron move. Right. Anthony Davis was a clutch client. LeBron's guy, Rich Paul, of course, LeBron's agent, AD's agent. They knew this was happening. LeBron had been drafting Luke in these all star games the whole time.

And what that says to Izzy's point about this not being his team anymore and him seeing the phasing out of his era in favor of the next one, that's the thing that casts a shadow over all of next year. As by the way, Dan, the thought experiment that no one's done that I am endlessly interested in is the production and programming of LeBron James' farewell tour.
If you thought that the Kobe Bryant tour was all consuming, if you thought that the Derek Jeter rocking chair thing, you know, bats comprising a rocking chair thing, like everybody gives him gifts like he's an Egyptian pharaoh. Imagine all of that, but LeBron producing it himself to the expense and the detriment and the exclusion of any other story in the NBA in an entire 82 game run.
That to me is what's coming. It may not be this coming season, but it might as well be. And if that's the case, we are in for a news cycle that is truly unlike anything else we've seen before.
