has an incredible ability to find space when there is no space.
And it's amazing to watch him in those situations where he is like a quarterback that's setting up and looking at different defenses and thinking, okay, where can I be dangerous now?
And he was just hanging out on the right, moving around, just slowly walking.
And then when the ball comes to him, he makes the game happen.
And I saw an English pundit say, why didn't they just man mark Messi, right?
Just stick one guy, you stay with Messi.
You don't think teams have been doing that for 25 years?
It's not as easy as that.
You know, he moves, he finds space, he pushes you into a position that he wants you to then go in the other spot.
He's unbelievable.
He sees the game in a faster speed than everybody else.
And I think they always say, and I felt this when I went from MLS to the Premier League, is once you finally kind of figure out the quality, the tempo, the speed, the game starts to slow down for you.
I think Messi sees everything on 0.2 speed compared to what everybody else is seeing everything blurring around him.
And I love this note is that he was talking to a young player at some point in his career, maybe it was Barcelona.
And he said to the player, he said, you run too much.
And you feel like you have to be everywhere.
