What he did say is that he tried to make substitutions at the end of games, defensive substitutions, which I disagree with.
But then he went on to say, but I've also tried to keep the same team on and I've conceded goals there.
I think he realises that not everybody's behind him now.
If you listen to the supporters, they're not all behind him now.
They're sort of looking at Xavi, Alonso and things like that.
But he needs a good end to the season.
I hope he has a good end to the season because I think he's a good manager.
And I'd like to see him succeed because he's the sort of manager you want in the Premier League.
But at the moment, I would give Michael Couric that little bit longer to see if it's just not a flash in the pan and it's just a change of manager and he's doing OK.
But remember, they've made some bad decisions, keeping Eric Ten Hag when they definitely didn't want him.
And because they won the cup final, they said, oh, yeah, we'll keep him for a little bit longer.
And everybody knew he was going to get the sack after a couple of months.
Then they get Ameren, who they must have done their homework on, but he obviously wasn't the manager for them because he was stubborn.
He didn't want to do what everybody thought he should be doing.
