Obviously, we want to play our home games.
Obviously, we want to play with fans because that's what football is about.
I think we all understand playing with fans is off the table for a while at least.
And of course, we'd rather play at home.
But I think if you saw...
the agenda which occurred last week about the bottom six and we're all trying to get relegation off the table and using neutral venues as an excuse i'm just glad that that's been leveled up a bit this week and um it's no surprise once bigger clubs than us talk about it suddenly people want to get back around the table and uh don't want to beat us up anymore so i'm glad that that's happened um i think most importantly is is that we try and find a way of getting back playing and
where it's safe and where the competition's fair.
You know, they're the key points.
You know, if that means we have to play on the moon and it's fair and it's safe, so be it.
But what we can't do is play it all out in the media and when an agenda suits beat up clubs for suggesting that playing in neutral venues might not be fair, but then once others put their heads up,
it's like, oh, okay, actually, yeah, that's a fair point.
Now we need to deal with it.
I don't think that's fair on the bottom six.
We were absolutely hammered last week.
Absolutely.
I think, you know, we as a club decided to keep quiet publicly last week.
But yeah, it's disappointing because, you know, when you're dragged through by, you know, so-called top journalists, ex-players, everyone having an opinion on it without the right to reply.
And, you know, I was in that meeting and there was a lot more than six clubs discussed dissatisfaction around neutral venues and for it to be portrayed as the bottom six trying to
kill football kill a season i thought was grossly unfair at no point uh as our club said we don't want to play we want to play once it's safe once it's fair um so how it was played out last week definitely i thought was wrong um i don't think it's right that our football club and listen my job as a custodian of the club is to protect our staff our players our fans and our club um and it's hard to sit there with your mouth shut when you're getting beaten up you know you want to come out and
Do a few, you know, swing a few back.
