Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is speaking out after announcing Monday he will not run for a third term.

The decision comes as he's facing growing criticism for his mishandling of massive welfare fraud in the state.

Walz says his decision is a personal one, but he says President Trump is waging a war against his political opponents by freezing federal funding in blue states.

The DOJ says 98 individuals have been charged for felony fraud-related crimes in Minnesota since 2022.

Hilton Hotels is removing a Minnesota location from its system for denying ICE agents bookings.

Despite vocal opposition from Denmark, which owns the semi-autonomous territory, President Trump continues to talk about annexing Greenland.

White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt releasing a statement saying that the president has made it well known that acquiring Greenland is a national security priority, says it's vital to deter adversaries in the Arctic region.

He says discussions are underway, but he is not ruling out military action.
