I was a law professor.
Some people don't know that.
It's a little hard being a law professor, right?
I taught evidence and trial advocacy.
Evidence is a four-credit course, and it's on the bar exam.
So a lot of preparation goes into that.
So this notion that you can just homeschool someone
and make up your own curriculum is falsehood.
It's actually really hard to teach children and teach adults too because I also taught adults law school.
The other thing that I will say about school choice is read about school choice.
Get read in because what happens is they give vouchers.
uh... to all families whether they be wealthy or not and then they sort of allow these families to choose which schools that they're going to send their children to
The schools that the money is taken away from are the public schools.
So our public schools get worse.
Our public schools aren't allowed to teach certain things.
The teachers are not allowed to teach certain things.
According to their training and their exam testing, taking,
And what happens is the wealthy people take those vouchers and put their kids in the best schools in the country, except it's a little cheaper for them.
And then the folks that aren't that wealthy, they still don't have enough money to put those kids in the schools that the wealthy people are putting those kids in.
So this notion of school choice just means worse public schools and wealthy people putting their kids in the top schools for less money.
