So they hope that she will just stay safe and sound and kind of protect her a little bit from all that's out there about her mom until maybe she's a little older to understand all of it.

But they also hope that she will see herself

as the real hero in getting justice for her mom.

Well, we know that Robert Marks, he did appeal shortly after he was convicted.

However, that was denied.

So he is still serving life in prison.
