Good to be back.

Yeah, they probably haven't um garnered a whole lot of attention before because it's kind of been a bit of a development platform in the sense that there's a lot of players who will be training week in, week out for the past couple of years in Connacht or in Munster and Ulster as part of the NTS program, which is the national training program that they have in in each province.

So they'll get a chance to have game time, play against the other provinces, and then

kind of just get exposure and get game time at that top level.

But why it's different this year is and I know a lot of people will have seen it because when we posted a clip or a post on Instagram the day before the Leinster Monster game and I said that Eve and Aaron King, so Eve Higgins and Aaron King will be making their Leinster debuts despite having 49 international Irish caps between them.

And that did over 70K on Instagram.

So people were

so confused as to how that's even possible.

Um and it's been the case across the provinces.

You had in Munster Emily Lane came in and then Grace Moore as well made her debut and then in Conos we had Anna McGann making her debut.

So it's been a bit of a bizarre championship but it's definitely put a lot of eyeballs on it because we've got these star studded international players suddenly taking on each other in under like the provincial setup.

I think it depends a lot on the way the rugby calendar works out.

We're gonna listen to a couple of interviews in a second.

I I had the pleasure of chatting to Erin down in uh Leinster training and then Anna McGahn over Zoom and Saive McGrath as well, who's up in Belfast.

But um I think it just worked very perfectly this year that there's nothing on at in the rugby calendar at the moment.

And also the a lot of the girls would have been playing sevens previously, so they would have been busy on the World Series but this

This year Ireland aren't in the World Series 'cause obviously they dropped off last year.

So there's just a lot of things that have fallen into place that these players are suddenly available, and it's gonna be their last opportunity to play rugby before they go into Ireland camp ahead of the global series that kicks off in September.

So they take on I think it's the USA first in Tala Stadium, I believe, and then they play Japan in the Dexcomp.
