Most of the time you'd know them for their accolades on the pitch, but you get a real insight into their personal side of things as well.

And a lot of the time you wouldn't have a clue what's going on behind closed doors, which, you know, you don't in a lot of cases.

But I think the GAA sometimes is interesting in that it's not as publicised as a lot of other sports in terms of, you know, because they're professional and they'd be...

You'd have the tabloids writing about soccer players, you know, whereas a lot of the G8s, it's more personal, it's more private.

So getting an insight into these stories, it's phenomenal.

So I got to chat to the eight new licks that are being featured this year.

And I also got chatting to one of the directors, Cormac, who has directed over 30 episodes.

He did three of them this season and...

I just I was chatting to the players.

And they all just kept saying how comfortable they were.

They were made to feel because a lot of these people aren't media trained, you know, especially the older generation.
