I think that embarrassment can actually be a really helpful political tool.

I think peer pressure and embarrassment can actually be very powerful when paired together.

So an example of me doing this.

there were murmurs for ages ago about JD Vance potentially running for president, right?

This is before it actually became more of a likely reality.

So I bought the domain name Vance for president.com.

And I basically set it up, I think I just put kind of like silly kind of memes on it or whatever.

And then when he did start to talk about it more, I made a video

you know being like hey i'm already ready i'm queued up for your presidential run and i mean the the page got like millions of views right and it's and it's like it's harmless no one's hurt by this even even republicans are like this is hysterical and then when spotify rap was a big thing you know where it's like they tell you your top songs and genres and everything i did a jd rap that's still on there with like some of his most embarrassing moments from the year um

kind of like what a daily show might do, right?

But putting my own spin on it, because I do think that laughing at them is something that they really don't like.

I mean, I think about the joint address last year that I was lucky enough to attend with Representative Lauren Underwood, who's an incredible congresswoman out of Illinois, if your listeners aren't familiar.

She's

passed 19 pieces of legislation, which is a crazy number.

It was like within the first 10 minutes, President Trump was like, well, none of you Democrats are going to clap for me, huh?

Which is so transparent into what's going on in his head, too.

Like, oh, you really, really want that approval.

I think withholding that approval and instead saying,

laughing at them publicly can actually be very, very powerful.

And he kind of admitted it himself.
