So in fact we have a second guest this month.
I was lucky enough to have a Zoom call with Kate Lord Brown, who I chatted to almost a year ago now, at the launch of her previous novel, The Golden Hour, which was fab, and I have to say I think she's outdone herself with the silver thread.
Which is an intriguing
Story set in two at least two timelines and three cities, and well, anyway, you'll hear much more about it from the author herself.
But just before we start, I wanted to say that that after Tim and I recorded the Women's Prize for Fiction winner was announced, which was The Correspondent by Virginia Evans, which Tim talked about last month.
So that's definitely
one to watch and I I think it's one of his top ten this week.
And Susan Choi Flashlight was shortlisted, also one of Tim's picks, so he's got brilliant taste, obviously.
And the non-fiction winner, I'm thrilled to say, was Lise Duset, The Finest Hotel in Kabul, which was her debut book, I believe.
Um, and from all accounts, I'm definitely going to read it.
It sounds fantastic.
But anyway, now we have Kate Lord Brown.

I've got to say that I absolutely I mean, we always say, don't we, we love a book, I couldn't put it down, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

Absolutely was thrilled to read this and it was one where I forgot to eat at times.
I would have been that woman on the omnibus, I can tell you.
Now uh again, um, like the golden hour, you've done a a a timeline that is um eighteen well it begins in eighteen seventy five and Paris nineteen eighty five.
