it's like you just look forward to be at the finish line, but actually you should enjoy the time in between as well and have a good time and try to make the best out of it.

In like in former times when I was just racing the shorter races, it was definitely most like the competitive side.

Yeah.

And then when I when I turned to cravel

it became a bit more also this nature part and just riding my bike, having some challenges.

These olders are so different.

Yeah, this was very different.

So I won Unbound twenty twenty four and then everybody said, Okay, now you're gonna go to Badlands and you're definitely gonna win Badlands and I was a bit like, Yeah, sure, why not?

I felt so good and then um I didn't know what to expect.

And the thing was I had the time from Cynthia in my mind, who won the year before.

And because she was the one I looked up

I also looked at her time and I was like, Okay, it maybe like these two nights, whatever.

And then I didn't really know what to expect in this kind of landscape and the heat and stuff.

So when it turns out that it's gonna be way longer.

I got really mind fucked and I couldn't really enjoy it at all.

And also I uh I hadn't enough water, so I got quite dehydrated.

And I just questioned myself all the time, like why are you doing this?

And I want to quit.
