John was fed up with her too.

John and Regina were both killed, their bodies hidden away.

Police wouldn't discover their decomposed remains until June.

In the meantime, Tom was getting rid of evidence and roping his loved ones into helping him cover his tracks.

What he wanted to do for his son and what he actually ended up doing were two vastly different things.
