Honestly, not that much.
Um it's an interesting question though.
Uh I think self managed super funds, um, in themselves, like there's so many things to consider before going down that pathway.
Um, and I understand the appeal uh of exactly this of avoiding that tax drag quote, um, by being in a a pooled industry fund uh and also having a bit more control over your investments.
But that said, we also have to weigh up the additional costs that then come with having a self managed super fund.
Um
And in terms of avoiding the pulled aspect, you can also go down the pathway of using something like a a wrap or a platform account.
And choose your own ETFs um in that environment.
So you're paying
CGT just for your own investments, not for a group.
Um, but then on the flip side to just to I guess play devil's advocate, um
Industry funds nowadays, uh, most of the big ones are offering up what they call their um retirement uh balance booster or bonus uh that you get when you stay with the same fund and then you move into an account based pension with that same fund.
Oh right.
