So I was the one kid shooting basketball
the ball into a hoop, double-ringed hoop on my own in England.
And it didn't really stick because I didn't really have the culture around me.
Of course.
But I always enjoyed basketball from a distance, and it kind of tied into my ambition to work at GameSpot because...
The local team, Golden State, they abbreviate it to GSW.
GameSpot would abbreviate it to GS.
And it was like, I ultimately originally wanted to be at GameSpot, and the Golden State Warriors part of it.
Oh, they have a good basketball team that I like as well.
So, like, in manifesting, I had, like, decided early on I would support that team as well to try and, you know, build my way there, build the energy to get there.
And it happened, and...
The first year I moved over, I think they won a championship, but I hadn't met my wife until then.
And then a few years later, I met my wife.
The year we met, I believe, we also won a championship.
But by that point, I was in deep.
She's a season ticket holder, and I'm a leech.
