At some point, I think the shoulder thing that I had early in the year really put me in kind of a bad spot.
It just made it hard to kind of keep that stuff in zone, and you kind of redevelop bad habits that you got out of, and the waters just get really murky.
And so right now, I feel like I'm on kind of the right trajectory or lane or however you want to think about it.
But I hope we can have a good month and kind of get in the offseason with a
Yeah, clear direction.
Yeah, I mean, my first couple spring outings I felt really good about.
And, you know, I had two bad ones to start the year and then two decent ones and kind of come out of Tampa and you're just not right.
And so, yeah, it's a tough one, man.
You know, I feel like when you're young, that stuff doesn't affect you the same way or I haven't had the same kind of wear and tear or surgeries or whatever you want to say.
But, yeah, it's just kind of.
Getting out of bad habits faster, I think, is the big thing.
And, you know, for me, that's through dialogue and kind of vetting out every different possibility and trying every different thing.
And I think when you need to try everything to, like, feel real confident about it, and then you can't throw the way you want to throw volume-wise.
Well, no, it's just the reality of being 31 with two surgeries and stuff like that is, like, it...
There's only so many reps, right?
Kind of trying to find some non-throwing ways to get some of the feels and all of that.
You know, when I was a kid, I would just pick up the ball and throw and, you know, make Clayton stand there and try and hurt him and, you know, do all that kind of stuff.
And it's just not kind of the way that it works anymore.
