We've got a great partner in Corteva and their product Inserve is celebrating, I think, 50 years this year of a nitrogen stabilizer.
But then they brought in Instinct NextGen, which helps with that manure being able to maintain the nutrients in that manure for a longer window.
Yep.
Because you're right.
Nothing beats fall applied manure as far as ground compaction goes, field preparations.
But what do you give up?
Oh, yeah.
We see the push from the consumer side, or at least from the corporation and consumer side, as to how important it is for us to use less synthetic fertilizer than we have in the past, or to get the maximum bushels per nutrient that is applied to the soil.
And manure is one of those key pieces.
Would you say 20 years ago, manure was more of a hassle?
If you had livestock, you had manure, and you had to get rid of it to where now it's an asset?
It is.
It's a full cycle now.
And some of the best operators, best listeners that we have view it as that.
And they put a lot of emphasis into even testing some biologicals to enhance the quality of the manure that gets put out.
Like I said, using some of those products to ensure that that nitrogen is still there in season.
A lot gets factored into this.
