Well, I think the early hours of the responses were really seeking to minimise the responsibility of the institutions for the sort of behaviour that we're describing.

I think the Swans' response has improved over time, but I was pretty stunned really to see that the four-page letter that went out from Scots College asked people to pray for the principal but barely mentioned the victim of this alleged assault.
I think keeping victims and survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence at the centre of our thinking and response whenever we're dealing with this issue is absolutely critical.
And big institutions really need to learn that lesson.
Well, yeah, the first thing is thinking about the person who's been hurt and how they need to be supported.

look to protect the reputation of the institution before dealing with the behaviours that we're talking about.

But every family, every community, every school, every sporting club,
All of us have an opportunity and a responsibility to deal with what we're seeing in recent times, which is an explosion in the rates of sexual violence, particularly where both the victim and the perpetrator are under the age of 18.
So we've actually seen some slow but steady progress in other areas of family and domestic violence.
I don't want to overstate that, but there's some encouraging signs because...
People have been working really hard on these issues for a long time.
But when you're talking about under 18s in particular, the numbers are going in the wrong way and they're moving very quickly in a very bad direction.
All of us have a responsibility to turn that around.
