There is a difference here.

I've been telling people for months now, you take a page out of the Tea Party book.

I know I was part of it.

it works the tactics not the content the tactics you learn to fight like republicans you have you cannot we can listen i just wrote in my sub stack i have i started sub stack i'm like new to new to it over there and it's kind of funky i love it my sub stack is called uncompromised and i i wrote in there recently that we cannot be the generation that lets democracy die

Because when authoritarianism comes knocking, it doesn't just stop at the first door.

And we need to start understanding the urgency of the moment that we're in, and you need to use the tactics of political warfare.

I mean, I missed it in the gospels where cruelty, retribution, anger, exclusion, all of those things.

I missed where that was written into the gospel.

I'd like to know where all these mega pastors that are pro-MAGA, I'd like them to explain what Donald Trump and Elon Musk are being allowed to do.

ruining livelihoods, indiscriminately firing people, erasing the history of black, brown people and women, all of these things, cutting off benefits to our veterans, calling our seniors parasites.

I would like to know where that is in the Gospels.

I'll wait.

I think that what we need right now is a united Senate Democratic caucus that can stand up for this country and not vote for cloture and not vote for this bill.

And I think that the strength that we have is in this moment.

Reconciliation and all of these Republicans do not need Democratic votes for that.

They need it for this.

And so the strength of our leadership in this moment is going to demonstrate the strength of our caucus.

And I cannot urge enough how bad of an idea it is to empower and enable Donald Trump and Elon Musk in this moment.

It is dangerous and it is reckless.
