And the Republican Party thinking that we are going to go back to the days where everybody went out for, you know, whiskeys and drank at the clubs before, like over legislation.
And these are normal legislative fights.
That shit is over.
That's why I keep telling people this is political warfare.
I'm sorry, but the Republicans are no longer just the simple opposition.
They are your enemies.
You don't break bread and reconcile with your enemies.
And until the Democrats start to look at that and approach it that way, they're going to keep running into these old ways of doing things.
What Chuck Schumer did and thinking that, oh, it'll be fine once it, that ship sailed after January 6th.
The Republicans did not extricate Donald Trump from the Republican Party after the guy incited a fucking insurrection.
It doesn't get any more traitorous than that.
And they still brought him back.
So...
They're living in la-la land.
If they think that the Republican Party of old is just going to come back once Donald Trump either kicks it or leaves, which we all know that the plan here is to keep him in office as long as he's breathing.
So...
The lack of imagination and the lack of understanding how far these people will take it.
I mean, Chuck Schumer, do you not see the full dismantling of the federal government happening right in front of your eyes?
Did you not see that they are instituting Schedule F and Project 2025 page by page?
Did you you thought that they weren't going to do it then?
