You're going after the jury now.
He went after the judge, his daughter.
He's saying all kinds of outrageous things.
And my understanding from the reporting coming out of the courthouse this morning, it's not going well for Trump's defense attorneys because they're making asinine arguments.
They're trying to defend the indefensible because they have an incorrigible client.
So I'm very curious to see.
Can I just say something about that?
Two things.
One, what the hell's the point then of having gag orders if they're not enforceable?
I don't understand that.
Right, why?
The rules are, right, they're there for a reason.
So if there's a, you know, selective two-tiered system of justice when it comes to enforcing things like that, then why bother even putting a gag order in place in the first place?
That's number one.
During the proceedings this morning in the contempt hearing, one of the things that the Trump lawyers were arguing was that there is a two-tiered system of justice and that it's unfair against Trump.
And Judge Marchand did not take too kindly to that.
He was not happy about that suggestion because that was implicating and impugning his integrity as a judge.
So I would say, and Renato, you would know this, I'm not the lawyer you are.
But I can't imagine that this is a good way to start off a criminal trial for your client.
