And that, I think, over six weeks of him being in this courtroom every day without control, without his 15 Diet Cokes or however many he throws back or whatever else he does to stay awake, I just wonder how he's going to handle this all.
Six weeks of that.
You know what I'm saying?
Like every day of this is at some point people are going to be like, OK, we've heard this 25 times already.
Get a new script, because, you know, as the reports are coming out of the courtroom and the facts are being laid out, it's it's just going to seem I think he's going to come across really desperate now to his people.
It doesn't matter.
They've already admitted he can shoot somebody on Fifth Avenue.
They don't care.
But to the people who are in the middle, who are casually watching this, I think weeks and weeks of it, they're just going to look at him as this apathetic man that he is and realize, like, is this the kind of person we really want back in office again?
I just don't see how it helps him with the people who are voting that will make the difference in this election.
I just don't know how the optics of this.
And then if he gets convicted, I think completely changes the dynamics.
He can whine and complain all he wants.
And with the right of center voters, the Republicans who are looking for a permission structure to vote for Joe Biden or stay home, I think a conviction, and we've seen it in polling, has said that that would change their minds.
They don't want a convicted felon as president, and they shouldn't.
Already.
Right.
It's giving contempt.
It's giving like, oh, I can't defend myself because Michael Cohen is out there every day, you know, talking about me and which was what his lawyers are trying to argue as the reason why Trump continues to attack him.
OK, let's take a step back.
