No, that's A Time to Kill.

Which is a fantastic movie on a lot of levels.

And actually I watched that not too long ago.

You know how they come on like TBS or something?

And there's a – at the end, the tactic that Matthew McConaughey's lawyer uses to get –

Carly Haley off for killing those guys that raped his daughter.

When he says he describes the horrific nature of the attack and the rape and what they did to her, he has the jury close their eyes and he describes it in chilling detail.

And the jurors start to cry.

People are shuddering.

And then he says, now imagine she's white.

Yeah.

I mean, that's kind of what we need to, how we need to approach some of these stories because we can't allow them to have a different standard because of color.

Of course.

But this is important, though.

You know what I mean?

People, like, the righteous anger of the American people does make a difference.

And...

They may have tried to sweep this under the rug or tried to get away with this or, you know, not done their jobs.

But now they've still may be intransigent.

But now there's a there's a spotlight on it because thanks to you and others, like I said, who have platforms that are keeping this in the public sphere.
