Football needs a fundamental change, like really big structural changes.
Things like this have happened because
Ten years ago, these people had been dragged out of bed in a five-star hotel, and a major, major scandal in global sport, and FIFA was supposed to be reformed, transparent, and we see those dark days behind us.
I think what we've seen, particularly in the latter half of the ten years Gianni Infantino's been there, is an extremely dark period in FIFA's history.
Perhaps not the cartoon corruption that we had seen in the period that brought him to office,
But in terms of governance, in terms of standards, in terms of transparency, this moment, in a way, could be a huge boon to football in the world and global governance.
Don't forget, in Infantino's period, we somehow managed to deliver a World Cup to Saudi Arabia.

the news cycle is so fast, without him ever having to answer any questions about how that managed to happen.
We've seen him somehow use Saudi Arabia again to deliver a Club World Cup and the cash from this.
