So I should like live in the moment more, but we're working on it.

Some months I spend heaps and I'm just like, oh, this is a bit off brand, but like it's fine.
It all balances out.

So I sit on more cash than I probably should.
So I've got like $25,000 in cash, which is like my buffer and my emergency fund.
But it's also kind of my fund for now where I'm like, cool, I'm going to move over to New South Wales and buy a season pass and buy all my snowboarding gear.
So that kind of buffer gives me the freedom to make those choices when I want to make them.
So it's like there for that.
But also like I'm going to be saving and investing for the rest of my life.
There's no rush as well.
which is kind of interesting about the FIRE movement because people are like, you have to be really frugal and reach FIRE as quickly as possible.
But I want to do everything while also reaching financial independence.
Sending money is fine.
It'll come back eventually.
Hopefully, anyway.

Yeah, the growth first fixed mindset.
That's really interesting when I talk to people because I always believe that I can make more and I'm trying to find ways that I can earn more and I ask for pay rises and I ask for extra things.
