I think we should use the procedural rules to force the Democrats to stand and talk and talk and talk and do a full talking filibuster, but we're not right now.

We have 53 Republicans, which means we can lose at most three.

There are at least four and potentially more that are no's.

And the problem is you have, in particular, Republicans who are retiring, so they're not going to be on the ballot.

That makes it very hard for the White House to pressure them if they're not up for re-election.

There's not a whole lot of leverage there.

So what the president put out on Truth Social, he said, if Iran doesn't fully open without threat the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various power plants, starting with the biggest one first.
